Based in Brunn am Gebirge in Lower Austria, Sipwise develops essential cloud communication solutions and infrastructure for telecommunications service providers worldwide. The team around the founders Daniel Tiefnig, Andreas Granig and Attila Ceylan has currently over 60 customers in 20 countries and serves 4 Million connected user.
At the end of 2011, tecnet equity and Speedinvest jointly invested in the Company as part of a seed round and supported the team in building up the company and its strategic development. Since then, the two funds have accompanied the start-up through several financing rounds in the development of the team, product and internationalisation.
In May 2018 Sipwise was aquired by technology provider Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (ALE-Holding).
